Fedora and Eclipse
I have recently upgraded Red Hat 9 to Fedora, and i decided to see what eclipse was like, i dowloaded the eclipse rpm, it installed fine, however when i went to run it by typing eclipse into the terminal, i get an error that says "No such file or directory /usr/local/eclipse.jre/bin/jave" what does that mean, is there another rpm i need and the dependecies did just not show up, what is the deal here? Has anyone been able to repoduse this error?
thanks, mike |
Eclipse is a java application ... thus, if you
don't have java installed it won't run... Cheers, Tink |
I had to install the IBMJava2-JRE-1.3.1-2.0.i386.rpm for eclipse to install, is there another rpm i need to have installed, if so what is it?
thanks, mike |
