OK -Iam using a Fresh Install of Fedora 8 from a Linux Identity DVD.

Install went OK -even got Windows XP to Behave in Dual Boot Mode .

I proceeded to install RPM,s froma USB stick onto it, the Software XINE , from a Brasilian site (he~he). It all went well -Xine works <but no sound--I figured that would need Tweaking>.


Later ,when I clicked ona Icon or App ,pertaining to Software Updates { in which this Fedora has to communicate to a Repository/server somewhere} -- I get no response when I try to use my USB stick again--it says Software Not Recognized ,so,on.

Any possible workarounds to this????????????
