when i boot from the fedora 7 dvd( i've downloaded with azureus) the program starts the media/cd(!) test, then say that the the cd media not correct. and when i skip the media test the installation end with this message instalation abnormaly exited(1/1).
I don't know what can i do, please help
It looks like the installation software did not burn properly to the CD. The media test is helping you. What you need to do is to first make sure that the ISO image that you downloaded is good. You can do this using the MD5 checksum. The download page where you got the ISO should have instructions. Then, when you burn the ISO image to CD make sure that the CD burning software does a verification pass. This will let you know if the ISO image burned correctly to the CD.
It is possible that your CD burner is causing the problem. I have a CD/DVD burner that never burns a CD or DVD without errors. I only use it as a reader now that I know it cannot correctly burn CDs and DVDs.
pixellany, it looks like I copied your answer but I was writing my post when you posted yours. I really didn't copy your answer. This is just a case of two incredibly knowledgeable people converging on the same answer.

i've downloaded this torrent: http://torrent.fedoraproject.org/tor...7-i386.torrent wich contains a dvd ISO!
Another question: if I download the small boot image to network install, it is safe if I don't select extra packages, and (if)my connection lost???

I can't connect your first comment with the rest of the discussion---CD isos are also available.
As for network install, what risk are you concerned about? It seems that if the the connection goes down while you are doing something, you would simply have to start over and do it again.
