Fedora 5 mount.cifs showing incorrect permissions
I have just upgraded to Fedora 5 and have mounted a CIFS partition using
mount -t cifs ls shows files having the S and t bits set -r-xr-Sr-t 1 root root 9484 Jan 8 11:01 myfile If I chmod 755, the permissions show correctly without the S and t bits. When I umount and mount again, the permissions have the S and t bits set. Does anyone know what is causing this problem and what the remedy is? Thanks, Peter |
