Fedora 22 install on Hidden SSID
I'm having an issue installing Fedora 22. I'm using the Fedora Server net install so that I can install the Cinnamon desktop during the install. The problem is that I have a Hidden SSID (not my choice, not something I can change.) The anaconda installer doesn't give me the option to connect to a hidden SSID. I've tried choosing another network and editing the settings, but the installer crashes as soon as it tries to connect.
Does anyone know a work around for this problem? I'm sure I'd be able to connect using the CLI, but I haven't found a way to get to the shell in the installer |
I did find a workaround. It's in no way an ideal work around though. I've set up another computer of mine as a wireless access point. This works fine for me because I have multiple computers, but I'm sure I'm not the only person with this question.
