Fedora 10 with Hauppauge winTV-HVR-950 - Kaffeine can't find "kaxtv.ts"

I am running Fedora 10 with the 2.6.27.9-159.fc10.i686 kernel. I am trying to use a Hauppauge winTV-HVR-950 usb device to watch TV using Kaffeine. I scanned for TV stations with Kaffeine and found 21 stations in my area. However, when I try to watch one of the stations I get a message that says that kaxtv.ts was not found in my home directory. Somewhere I on the web I found that this meant I did not have the XVid codecs installed. I read that they should be in /usr/lib/codecs (from Kaffeine go to menu -> settings -> xine engine parameters and click on "decoder."). The /usr/lib/codecs directory exists on my system, but is completely empty. Where do I get the codecs for Fedora 10 with the 2.6.27.9-159.fc10.i686 kernel.
