fedora 10 64-bit on thinkpad t400

Hello! I just got a thinkpad t400 and wanted to dual boot Linux with the horrible OS knows as Window$ vi$ta. I like fedora, so I used my 64 bit live install for fedora 10, and after it does the little blue/lightblue/white loading bar, I'm stuck with a prompt that is just a blinking _. I can type things, but after 1 hour I get no display. I'm using the ATI mobility radeon discrete graphics, which uses fglrx. Shouldn't it at least be compatible with the radeon driver? I don't know what's wrong here.... :(

AHA! I needed to disable OS gfx detection, and change from switchable graphics! Problem solved... I think.
