fdutils, format exotic floppy

I'm trying to format/copy a diskette, reading a original works fine with these:

fdrawcmd read 0 0 0 17 3 0 0x1b 0xff length=5120 rate=2 need_seek track=0 >>n.raw
fdrawcmd read 4 0 1 17 3 0 0x1b 0xff length=5120 rate=2 need_seek track=0 >>n.raw

fdrawcmd read 0 1 0 17 3 0 0x1b 0xff length=5120 rate=2 need_seek track=1 >>n.raw
fdrawcmd read 4 1 1 17 3 0 0x1b 0xff length=5120 rate=2 need_seek track=1 >>n.raw

fdrawcmd read 0 2 0 17 3 0 0x1b 0xff length=5120 rate=2 need_seek track=2 >>n.raw
...

But I couldn't find parameters for 'fdrawcmd format' or 'superformat' or 'setfdprm', can someone help?
Thanks.

These might help

thanks, but I've been reading them without success. All I managed is the above 'readonly' with fdrawcmd. I need to copy it to new diskette, can't do it without formatting first.

If you just want to duplicate a disk dd should work.

What is the format for these disks? There might be an emulator for the operating system that created them. For example, I use an emulator for the Sinclair QL and that would enable me to format QDOS floppies if I had a working floppy drive.
