fdupes finds duplicates that aren't there

fdupes worked great but with this one folder I get duplicates, example
Music/Rock/Dobbie Bros/Minute by Minute/Doobie Brothers - Minute by Minute - 03 - Minute by Minute.mp3
Music/Rock/Doobie Bros/Minute by Minute/Doobie Brothers - Minute by Minute - 03 - Minute by Minute.mp3

Here is a dir listing which shows no duplicates
Code:
fred@fred-HP-Laptop-17-bs0xx:~/Music/Rock/Dobbie Bros/Minute by Minute$ ls
'Doobie Brothers - Minute by Minute - 01 - Here to Love You.mp3'
'Doobie Brothers - Minute by Minute - 02 - What a Fool Believes.mp3'
'Doobie Brothers - Minute by Minute - 03 - Minute by Minute.mp3'
"Doobie Brothers - Minute by Minute - 04 - Dependin' on You.mp3"
'Doobie Brothers - Minute by Minute - 05 - Dont Stop to Watch the Wheels.mp3'
'Doobie Brothers - Minute by Minute - 06 - Open Your Eyes.mp3'
'Doobie Brothers - Minute by Minute - 07 - Sweet Feelin.mp3'
'Doobie Brothers - Minute by Minute - 08 - Steamer Lane Breakdown.mp3'
'Doobie Brothers - Minute by Minute - 09 - You Never Change.mp3'
'Doobie Brothers - Minute by Minute - 10 - How Do the Fools Survive.mp3'

No other folder had this issue. Is this a database issue and how can I fix it? As of now I'm just ignoring it.

I think there is no any kind of database involved (just the filesystem itself). Probably it is a bug in that software, but hard to say anything without details.

From the fdupes manual page:
Quote:
Furthermore, when specifying a particular directory more than once, all files within that directory will be listed as their own duplicates, leading to data loss should a user preserve a file without its "duplicate" (the file itself!).

I used the command 'fdupes -r Music' so I don't think that message applies. I did find another folder with the same songs, different titles, so I fixed that and deleted 'MxM' folder. Now everything is as I would expect. Thanks for the help.
