fdisk without user interaction

Hello All,

Is it possible to use the fdisk command in a one line command to create one partition on a 2nd hard drive? I want to be able to partition the 2nd drive automatically (i.e. without the user interaction that fdisk /dev/hdb requires).

Thanks!

I don't have any sandbox drives to play with at that level right now (really - I usually do!). You could have a look at the manpage for cfdisk ('man cfdisk')which appears to allow you to pass some stuff to the application which might allow you do do what you want.

The main problem you will face is giving users the proper permissions. That's a nasty hole in any system.
