FDC 4 install from source

Please forgive me if I am repeating myself. I am here seeking help with a project I started a couple months ago, that I came here with, and now I am picking up where I left off.

anyway, I ordered FDC 4 installation disks to upgrade my FD2 system from. instead of installation disks, I recieved source cd's that I don't know how to install from. Can anyone here walk me thru this, either by phone, or online? I have found all kinds of articles on the internet, but I either don't understand them, or the stuff they tell me to do won't happen on my FDC2 machine. I am not sure why, but it may be because the programmer I got the FDC2 install disks from rearranged the installation procedure. Don't know and don't care. I just want to upgrade to FDC4. Is there someone out there who wants to be my hero today?

I think you'd be better off trying to get the real (binaries) install CDs instead. You can download the ISOs (get the "FC4-whatever-disc1.iso", etc. not the ones that say "SRPMS").
