Fcitx Issue (Load Config Description File config.desc Error, Please Check your install.)

Goodmorning,
recently I've installed Kubuntu 18.10 on my Laptop in Multiboot with Ubuntu 18.10, Manjaro and Windows 10.
I need to type in chinese, so I installed fcitx but it's giving me a lot of problems; in particular, when I install it with:

Code:
sudo apt install fcitx
but when I run fcitx in the terminal it gives me the following error:

Code:
$ fcitx
(ERROR-29676 configfile.c:171) Load Config Description File config.desc Error, Please Check your install.
(ERROR-29676 instance.c:443) Exiting.
What should I do?

Thanks in advance for the help, have a nice day
