FC3 installation process Freezed..
 

Hy,
I have this strange problem installing Fedora Core 3 on my PC.

Starting with another distro I had no problems, but now I wanna install
FC3 on my AMD 3200+ 64bit.

I am able to boot from DVD rom setting all the required parameters such as
language, software packages, etc..

The problem is at the last 'Next' step of the installation process;
when my PC has to start formatting partitions and installing the software
only a static blank percentage bar is shown..
" PC is Freezed! "
..after that nothing else is working!

Thinking on this strange problem I'm suspecting that the problem is related to
my Hard Disk; it is a 30GB logical disk defined on a RAID5 array.
The RAID adapter is an IBM ServeRAID-4Lx..

Maybe that FC doesn't have the correct module for manage this HW?

hmmmmm i have no idea what your prob is but then again im just a noob. What I would try in this situation is try installing F3 from another DVD. That shouldnt be too pricy because some Linux magazines have it. If that doesn't work try installing Windows on it to see if that works on the HD. Thats all i kno...
