fc3 - cyrus imap problem
 

hi i my prob is i installed postfix, cyrus imap, cyrus sasl, mysql, pam_mysql and so on for
a mail server so far everything went fine, but now i started testing the whole thing i have problems connecting to my imap :

i want to login my imap via saslauthd and therefore i created a sasl password for my cyrus user with saslpasswd2 what went fine but when i try to login my imap server with cyradm and the sasl2 passwd i created i get the following error:

Login failed: authentication failure at /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.5/i386-linux-thread-multi/Cyrus/IMAP/Admin.pm line 118
cyradm: cannot authenticate to server with as cyrus

the only way i can logon the server is with user root and my linux passwd for root ?

maybe there is something wrong with imapd.conf or smtpd.conf i don't know
