FC2: Default browser doesn't open page
Hi, I have a question:
I have downloaded and succesfully installed Firefox. I have also set it as default application for http-files.
But... when I click a hyperlink in an Email-message (Ximian Evolution in my case), Firefox starts up alright, but without loading the URL the hyperlink points to.
When I add %1 to Firefox in the default programm setting, Firefox simply loads Google, that is searches for "%1" (had to try this, worked with Windows)
So... any suggestions? How can I learn my first Linux to not only start Firefox, but also to load a page?
Perhaps this may be of help: I have changed the second icon on the bottom bar (the internet icon next to the red hat) to start firefox, rather than Mozilla. The button works alright, but Firefox does not open the default start page and display a blank page instead.
TIA!
