Ok, i have a real newbie problem. See the link below? When i click download, it's actually a script or something, it's not the "programs" that i am so used to. But i am sure there is away to make it work as a program, but I just don't know how. Can anyone point me to the right tutorial and HOW-To for this? Thanks!
well, i thought that's the case too, at least the bsetbg should be there, but it isn't. I use Slackware's default fluxbox 0.9.8. After a few try, i started to suspect that i don't have bsetbg or fbsetbg at all. And now here i am trying to get these scripts to work for me. Any clue?
Originally posted by MurrayL That script works fine for me,
save it in /usr/local/bin then run by typing fbsetbg <filename of your picture>
thanks MurrayL, but do it do the saving? just cut and paste into nano(my favourite noobish editor) and save it? BTW, i don't know how to do cut and paste in the console. Please teach me how.
