FATAL ndiswrapper error

Hi,

I've installed fedora 5 on a dell latitude D610. I'm having problems with the wireless
card. I followed the steps described in the ndiswrapper wikipage. I have the windows driver
bcmwl5.inf and the ndiswrapper -l bcmwl5.inf has worked fine. My problem comes from
modprobe ndiswrapper.

I've downloaded the latest versions of kernel and kernel-devel with yum. And ndiswrapper
compiled OK. But somehow I can't modprobe it. Any idea? Could it be related to
usbcore?? i don't seem to have it.

Thanks!

Sounds like a pathing issue, are you using su instead of 'su -' minus the single quotemarks???

locate modprobe

/sbin/modprobe -v ndiswrapper

As far as usbcore query, what do you mean????

locate usbcore
/sbin/modprobe -v usbcore
