I was trubbleshoting useing the debian install disk and I messed up and hit the install base-system while having mounted my old root. Now I get WARNING: fake start-stop-daemon doing nothing for every daemon I try to start. I have no start-stop-daemon.REAL file also apt-get/aptitude have forgotten everything I have installed. Plz someone tell me this can be fixed...

And plz someone point me inn the right direction, I'm not sure whether I should be messing whit the start-stop-daemon thing, apt or what. I don't even know what questions to ask at this point...

If no one has any idea as to what to do here could someone plz post the contens of /sbin/start-stop-daemon ? If it's just a script I should be able to rewright it for my system.

I fixed it. It seems lately Iv been ending up answering all my own questions or Iv been getting the "I'm an uber geek that thinks he knows everything and turns inn to a crying little bitch when you tell him he's no help at all" attitude around here, and I'm sick of it. So if anyone need to know how I did it send me a mail or something.
