Failsafe Daiblo 2 ?

Hey, ive tried to get diablo 2 working, with wine, winex, native, etc, and am having no luck, at all. Im using fedora core, btw.

Can anyone offer a failsafe guide to getting it to work ?

Also - is win4lin dead and gone or what ? I quite like the idea of a virtual windows, because then games will run seamlessly, and technicly, your still running linux.
