I was able to upgrade to mozilla 1.4 with just rpms

Mostly you need to get perl and perl-base 5.8.1 rpms plus those libns rpms. This opens up a WORLD of dependency issues.

I needed:
mozilla-1.4-4mdk.i586.rpm
mozilla-mail-1.4-4mdk.i586.rpm
mozilla-spellchecker-1.4-4mdk.i586.rpm
libnspr4-1.4-4mdk.i586.rpm
libnss3-1.4-4mdk.i586.rpm
perl-5.8.1-0.RC4.2mdk.i586.rpm
perl-base-5.8.1-0.RC4.2mdk.i586.rpm
perl-devel-5.8.1-0.RC4.2mdk.i586.rpm
vim-enhanced-6.2-9mdk.i586.rpm
vim-common-6.2-9mdk.i586.rpm
gaim-0.66-2mdk.i586.rpm
libgaim-remote0-0.66-2mdk.i586.rpm
libgtkspell0-2.0.3-4mdk.i586.rpm
libpython2.3-2.3-2mdk.i586.rpm
galeon-1.3.7-2mdk.i586.rpm

Whew!!! I got them all from
ftp://speakeasy.rpmfind.net/linux/ma.../Mandrake/RPMS

OR just keep fixing dependencies recursively until the perl and libns rpms go thru. Wish I could figure out how to get urpmi working )

BTW, installing with the mozilla installer works too (I did that 1st) but you don't get anti-aliased fonts. A big thing for me.

Cheers all!
