fail2ban sshd startup notification
Hello.
I just installed fail2ban and it seems to work great. However, there's an annoyance I would like to get rid of. Every time I boot my machine, root gets mails telling that sshd has been stopped and that it has been started. I don't want to have those mails. I tried looking at the fail2ban configuration under /etc/fail2ban, but was unable to spot anything that would have seemed to be related to this. So, how do I disable those messages? I tried setting loglevel to 2 but it didn't solve this. Also, I would still like to get a mail every time fail2ban blocks something. I just don't want to get notified when ever sshd gets started or stopped. Another question is, how do I set the email address that gets the fail2ban notifications? Oh, and I'm running Fedora 7, if that's of any relevance. Thanks. |
