Fail2ban help

HI All

We are hosting a few website for family and friends and occasionally something happens to the hosted site ad starts sending loads of email which bounces.

We have fail2ban on the machine and I would like to be able to get fail2ban to email me if say there are 5 more more emails in /var/log/mail.log with the works blacklisted or failed to talk to me. Not looking to ban anything just get an early warning system running.

Can anyone advise how I can do this as what I have found on-line just confuses me

Have a look at Getting Started with fail2ban
Try the workup it suggests and then feel free to ask some additional questions.
