Here's the log:

linux:/tmp/faad2 # make

faad2 Error Help (Part 2) - Make Install

OpenSuse 10.0 x86_64 stock system

I've patched my untared file and went through the usual drill when I got to make then make install I got these errors I'm not sure where to turn. So I turn to my peers. YOU!

Here's the log:

/usr/local/lib

If you ever happen to want to link against installed libraries
in a given directory, LIBDIR, you must either use libtool, and
specify the full pathname of the library, or use the `-LLIBDIR'
flag during linking and do at least one of the following:
- add LIBDIR to the `LD_LIBRARY_PATH' environment variable
during execution
- add LIBDIR to the `LD_RUN_PATH' environment variable
during linking
- use the `-Wl,--rpath -Wl,LIBDIR' linker flag
- have your system administrator add LIBDIR to `/etc/ld.so.conf'

See any operating system documentation about shared libraries for
more information, such as the ld(1) and ld.so(8) manual pages.

Open up mp4ff.c and remove the 'static' keyword from the definition of 'mp4ff_track_add' on line 91...

Which gcc are you using? I had thought this was only a warning in gcc 3.x but threw the error in 4.x
