F-spot to use kmail to send pictures

Hi! I'm relatively new to Debian Etch. I'm using F-spot to manage my photos and Kmail for email. I have KDE as my desktop. How could I configure F-spot to use Kmail to send pictures in attachments?

After a little bit of searching on the net I tried

gconf-editor-->desktop--->gnome--->url-handlers-->mailto and changed the command to kmail, which partially did the trick -kmail launches but no pictures are being attached.

I'd appreciate your help.
