f-spot dates

I've installed the latest f-spot on my Arch linux box.. I moved my pictures from my old computer and fired it up and most things look great.

One little annoying thing is that the dates on some of the pictures are not the real dates the pics were taken but rather the date I moved the files from one computer to the other. I tried using the touch command to alter the date (as seen via ls -al) but it's still showing up as the wrong date in f-spot.

Unfortunately f-spot doesn't seem to have a way to adjust any meta-data within the application. Anybody using f-spot know a way to properly get the photos to show the right date?

I'm having the same problem. I think it's the fact that the software is fairly Beta. It's useable, but a lot of features and tweaking still needs to be done.
