external launch of firefox...

Hi all..

I was using mozilla, and if I was a Mozilla windows open, and a external software tried to open a URL, mozilla opened a new window with this URL.

Now, i'm using firefox, it seem to have the same behaviour (I found some tricks to even open a new tab intead of a new windows) but if a external software try to open a URL, if execute a new firefox obtaining a "chose profile" screen (because the opened windows of firefox "lock" my profile).

Anybody knows how to avoid this?

Thanks in advance.
