Exporting topology generated by BRITE to NS2.34

I have found someone publishing a solution to a problem I have with BRITE and ns2.34. the problem is that it involves "applying a patch" and I haven't had a clue where to start.

The link to the discussion is:

http://mailman.isi.edu/pipermail/ns-...ry/020117.html

According to my understanding i need to copy the contents starting from

--------------090602040303020107000905
Content-Type: application/x-tcl;
name="mytop.tcl"
Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit
Content-Disposition: inline;
filename="mytop.tcl"

# Model ( 1 ): 100 1000 100 1 1 2 0.15 0.2 1 10 1024

in one file and name it as brite2ns.patch. i will save it in my home directory and then run command patch -p1 < brite2ns.patch from terminal.

The link mentioned above also contains example file mytop.tcl. I have a doubt regarding what to copy in my patch file (the example file mytop.tcl or only the patch file brite2ns.patch or both) ??

i.e. from

--------------090602040303020107000905
Content-Type: application/x-tcl;
name="mytop.tcl"
Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit
Content-Disposition: inline;
filename="mytop.tcl"

# Model ( 1 ): 100 1000 100 1 1 2 0.15 0.2 1 10 1024

or only from

--------------090602040303020107000905
Content-Type: text/plain;
name="brite2ns.patch"
Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit
Content-Disposition: inline;
filename="brite2ns.patch"

Thanks in advance

The patch "brite2ns.patch" is the text starting (line 1) with :
--------------090602040303020107000905
.... and ending (line 828) with :
--------------090602040303020107000905--

Asume an empty line 829, then the file is 38.1kB (38,980Bytes).
