Expand hda1 with free space from hda2?


HI, I am very new to LINUX, I have same problem my hda1 is full and I want to increase its size by stealing from other hda2.
I am also unable to link posted. Can you please tell a simple way, like
comands how to I proceed or tell me some simple action to take.

Not necessarily trivial. We need some info:
- what distro are you using (update your profile)
- from a terminal enter "fdisk -l" (no quotes, use sudo or su in need)
- do you have gparted already installed

(Resurrecting dead threads is considered bad form - start a new one for yourself in future)
