right ckick on the desktop and select Quit

This will exit to whatever you have running before starting mwm.

If you use this it will exit the server..

xinit -e mwm

if you use this you will still be in X

xinit

then start mwm by runnning mwm in the xterm.

Quiting mwm will not end the x session, only quiting the xterm will close the X server.

i wish it was that easy
right click SHOULD be a desktop menu, but those assholes at SuSE have to make it a "SuSE" menu without any means of exiting

You can edit the menus, in whichever mwmrc file your using

Menu DefaultRootMenu
{
"Root Menu" f.title
"New Window" f.exec "xterm &"
"Shuffle Up" f.circle_up
"Shuffle Down" f.circle_down
"Refresh" f.refresh
"Pack Icons" f.pack_icons
! "Toggle Behavior..." f.set_behavior
no-label f.separator
"Restart..." f.restart
"Quit..." f.quit_mwm

}

see man mwmrc for more details
