Execution of PERL scripts in Linux which is compiled in WINDOWs environment

Hi,
I wrote a perl script and compiled the same in the WINDOWS environment. My doubt is, is it possible to execute this compiled binary file in montavista linux environment?

Why don't you run the script in linux? Why would ou want to complicate your life trying to run the binary?

I need to develop a application in the following manner!

One side i will be having a windows XP machine and the other side i will be having microcontroller which running in monta vista linux. The application running in the XP machine will compile that perl scripts and down loads the compiled version in the microcontroller flash. The monta vista linux in my controller should do some tasks based on that compiled version of the perl scripts. So plz tell me the necessary things!!

No, I don't think it'll transparently run under linux, but you surely can run it through 'wine'.
