Execute .bin fiies

Everytime I try to open a .bin file (even as the root) I get a "permission denied" message. Anyone know how to solve this?

the file has to have execute permission. to allow everyone to execute it, do:
Code:
chmod a+x <the file>

Use chmod to change the file permissions to execute.
or if you are using the gui, Right click the file and left click
properties. Choose permissions.
