Excel 2007 file not opening

Hi,

maybe this is a little bit off topic , I just don't know where to post it.

anyone is familiar with Excel 2007 XLXs files?, it won't open, maybe it is corrupt, I am not sure. I have open office 3.1.0. I tried it also on Office 2003 with the 07 compatibility pack,but no luck

the file size is 100 kb, I am willing to pay for recovery of the data

The file might be broken. xlsx is actually a zip file with a bunch of stuff in it. Try renaming it to .zip & open it with Winzip or something similar. If it won't open, it's corrupted.

I renamed it to winzip but it did not open as a zip file, I tried winrar, and it opened it as a text file with bunch of nonsense.

any suggestions where to find someone to repair the corrupt file?
