Evolution shell warning

Error message:
evolution-shell-WARNING **: Cannot access Bonobo/ConfigDatabase on wombat: (IDL:OAF/GeneralError:1.0)

I install all the packages that was specified and downloaded from Linuxpackages.net, reinstalled oaf, tried as root. Download oaf source and installed, still doesn't work.

I guess my question is where/or how can I create the configuration file?

thanks

Here is what a search on google pulled up:

During many searches in google I have seen many references to evolution problems. That is you best bet.

CragStar thanks for the link. I've also done some digging and found a varied array of possible solutions. According to Google a mozilla library could be the culprit, or there could be unresolved dynamic links. I also dug around in the Beyond.LFS lists and came across some possible environment variables that need set. Can't wait to head home and try things out.

Let everyone know if I get it working.

ok. got it working. did some digging around on beyond lfs and found that perhaps some setting of env variables might help. so the following script sets the vars and executes evolution and IT WORKS!! yay.

#!/bin/sh

GNOME_PATH=/usr
EVO_PATH=/opt/evolution

export PATH=$PATH:$EVO_PATH/bin
export GNOME_PATH=$GNOME_PATH:$EVO_PATH
export OAF_INFO_PATH=$EVO_PATH/share/oaf:$GNOME_PATH/share/oaf

$EVO_PATH/bin/evolution
