Evolution Popups User Directory

I am using Evolution 1.4.6 in Fedora Core 2. For the longest time now, I have been getting frequent pop-ups that say the following.

---
Cannot contact the user directory
Failed to bind to user directory: Can't contact LDAP server.
---

I have no user directories set up. I emptied out the addressbook-sources.xml file. It's as follows:

---
<?xml version="1.0"?>
<addressbooks>
</addressbooks>
---

I have also restarted all the processes for Evolution, wombat, etc. It didn't used to be a problem, because I would only get one or two a day, but now in the past week I have been getting one or two HUNDRED a day. Every time I come home, I have to spend a few minutes clicking OK on all the messages that have piled up. THANKFULLY they are all over one another.

I do not want to have to recreate all of my Evolution settings. I have years worth of data in there, much of which I reference from time to time.

I can also say that this started happening after I set up a test Communigate account, but I have since them removed it... that was a year ago. I've also transfered from RedHat to Fedora and the problem persisted, so it wasn't the actual program.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Thank you,
Jason
