Evolution gives Your system configuration does not match your Evolution configuration

when I'm trying to start evolution the above statement is displayed.

After searching on the internet I've added
/usr/lib/bonobo/servers

to /etc/bonobo-activation/bonobo-activation-config.xml
and restarted the machine but the error message persists.

I also tried reinstalling evolution but no success.

I'm running gentoo with all the latest updates installed.

thanks
