Evolution Exchange mail refresh

I'm having a very annoying problem with Evolution and Exchange. I have Evolution connected to our exchange server and I am having a problem getting new mail. In the left hand pane, where all my folders are listed, the inbox icon increments with (1) when a new mail arrives. This is excellent. But the new mail doesn't show up in the right hand pane so I can actually read it. I have to close and re-open evolution to get the new e-mails to show. I'm guessing there is a check box I am missing somewhere, but I can't seem to find it. I'm running SuSe 10.1 and Evolution 2.6.0. The exchange server is Exchange 2003.

Any suggestions?

Evolution and Exchange

I posted the same question in the Desktop forum earlier today. No response yet, but I was playing around and watching the processes. I had the evolution-exchange-storage processes eating 97% cpu. I stopped the process-waited a minute-and resumed (GNOME System Monitor). I tested... low and behold the new mail message not only showed it was in the mailbox "Inbox(1)", but displayed as a new message that I could preview or open.

This was the first time I tried it, so not an exact science yet, but further testing will tell.... just something to try for now.

Let me know the results.

New Exchange Account Mails Not Displayed in Evolution

Here's the fix from Novell support for SuSE Linux Enterprise. I'll be testing as well.

Evolution fix

It worked for me. Actually replaced with an older version-

Had 2.6.0-27.10 replaced with 2.6.0‑27.8

Thanks for the information. I'm positive that your research will help others here. I just finished a post where I recommended Evolution to someone.
