Evolution crashes after network disconnection -- Fedora 17, Evolution 3.4.2
Hi there,
When I disconnect the internet, Evolution registers this (in the GUI and in the shell when run in bash), and when I plug it back in it realizes this too. However, when I ask E to Send and Receive, it doesn't make any progress, and sits for ever. At this point it munches CPU, even getting to 102% at one time (so top claimed), E will then refuse to close and can withstand kill, requiring kill -9 to terminate it. This is what is displayed when I run it in terminal:-- [oliver@oliver ~]$ evolution e-data-server-ui-Message: Unable to find password(s) in keyring (Keyring reports: No matching results) evolution-shell-Message: Network disconnected. Forced offline. evolution-shell-Message: Connection established. Going online. When it's back online I will ask it to Send and Receive, and it will seize as I explained, with no further shell messages. Hope you can help, Thanks, PP |
