I am using Evolution 2.28.3.
I understand that because I chose to leave messages on the server they are occasionally downloaded again.

Apparently at one time there was a remove duplicate emails option in evolution. This option no longer exists.

1) is there any add-on that will remove duplicate emails?

2) is there any stand alone program that will examine the on disk database and remove duplicate emails?

3) Can anyone provide details on what would need to be done. What are the complications?

The option to delete the database and then reload everything from the server is not a valid work around.
