Howdy all,
I've recently ran into a problem with evolution concerning attachments from outlook. If my boss sends me a doc or xls from his computer at the office it is attached as winmail.dat in evolution. If i forward the mail to my yahoo account the attachments are as they are supposed to be.
1. Does anybody know of a setting in outlook to change to send the attachments in a format evolution understands?
2. Does anybody know of a setting in evolution to do the same?
Tell your boss he needs to setup his outgoing email as plain text and not "plain text and html" or just "html".
This is not an issue with Evolution but with Outlook itself. Also you should mention to him to get rid of Outlook and use a real email client.. anything except Outlook!
