evolution 2.4 cannot load exchange plugin

I just upgraded evolution to 2.4 as well as the exchange plugin on a Slackware 10.1 system. ximian-connector-setup-2.4 runs and I can setup my account, but when I run Evolution, I get the following:

e-utils-WARNING **: can't load plugin '/usr/lib/evolution/2.4/plugins/liborg-gnome-exchange-operations.so: undefined symbol: exchange_account_set_password'

So it cannot access my exchange mail. In the plugins setup dialog, exchange is unchecked, and if I try to enable it, I get that same error in the konsole.

Anybody know what is happening?
