Evolution 2.22.1 and Google Calendar

Hi,

I've been told that evolution 2.22.1 now supports synching with Google calendar. I did the following:

Created a new calendar in evolution, using "Google" as calendar type and inserting my username@google. I suppose this step should enable downloading from any appointments made and already on Google Calendar. It doesn't.
As for publishing (i.e. publish appointments typed locally in evolution on Google Calendar) I do Edit->Preferences->Calendar and Tasks. Here I set "publish as" to iCAL choosing manual action for publishing. I don't know what to set in the Publishing Location parameters (I have used the iCAL address of my Google Calendar, but it didn't work).

Furthermore, as I return to these settings, parts of them are "gone".

While typing here, I found this post; so is evolution 2.22.1 supporting google calendar both read/write or not? And if so, what is the correct way to set it up?

tia

I've got the same problem. Evo 2.22 was advertised as having google calendar read/write support, but this doesn't seem to work. I only have read only access.
