Evince closing when I open a particular file

Evince is crashing when I open a particular ebook. The same file works fine in Okular. I see the following if I open it using terminal.
Code:

evince MySQLAdminBible.pdf
Error (16744223): Dictionary key must be a name object
Error (16744367): Bad 'Length' attribute in stream
Error (0): Call to Object where the object was type 11, not the expected type 8
evince: xcb_io.c:176: process_responses: Assertion `!(req && current_request && !(((long) (req->sequence) - (long) (current_request)) <= 0))' failed.
Multiple segmentation faults occurred; can't display error dialog

Can anyone explain this?

It seems like you have a buggy/corrupted PDF file. I've had this happen to me several times. Often, opening them in a different viewer (as you did) seems to work fine. It just depends on how robust the viewer is, and in which way the file is corrupted.

^Maybe. OR evince may not be that good. Earlier some files that evince didn't open opened fine in XPDF
