ethereal RTP stream merge
I am working with Ethereal for troubleshooting on a VoIP platform. I can capture the data, convert it to RTP. I want both sides of the conversation, but my RTP streams are coming for a media server, both are FORWARD streams, but both are part of the same conversation. I have been able to convert them fine to .au or .wav, but I have not been able to merge them chronolgically. They just append. Anyone know a way to make ethereal take both FORWARD streams, and make them part of the ame conversation?
Thanks...

just select to merge chronologically on the merge dialog box, there are three radio buttons in the bottom corner of the newest releases.

I did do that, but if you save the file, you cannot convert it to a .wav file to hear both sides of the conversation.
When I do the statistics on the RTP stream, then save it as a .au file, unless you have a forward and a reverse, you cannot save them both. I am still only able to listen to one RTP stream at a time.
Thanks.

just a thought. a wav editor (cool edit 96) would allow you to crossfade samples.
