Eterm - default window size?

Hi, I've recently installed fluxbox and Eterm to go with it.. But I would like to be able to change the default size of an Eterm window so that I can have a menu command to run ADOM (it needs a window bigger than the default). I've looked through both user.cfg and theme.cfg but there doesn't seem to be a way to set it. Is there some way to open an Eterm window right away, bigger than the normal size, in fluxbox? Thanks.

I think Eterm supports the standard xterm -geom command line switch which lets you set the size and position. If it does it probably also supports setting it as Eterm*geometry: (or xterm:geometry:) in your ~/.Xdefaults file. Refer to the man page (man Eterm) or man eterm) for detailed information.

You could probably use something like Eterm -geom 80x40+0+0 to get an Eterm 80 characters wide, 40 lines high and positioned in the top left corner of your screen.

But, like I said, read the man page.

RE: Eterm - default window size?

Eterm -g WxH

For example call "Eterm -g 60x40" if you are creating a link to it.

Experiment with different sizes until you find the right one. The geometry is NOT determined by pixels, so keep it small to start...
