Esetroot (Eterm) error - starting Eterm in transparent mode?
I'm using Enlightenment and trying to get Eterm to start in transparent mode. I inserted exec Eterm -O into my ~/.Xclients-default script, which brings up a non-transparent Eterm. Ok, here's the weird thing. When I manually click on 'toggle transparency,' Eterm goes transparent, no problem. When I start /usr/bin/Eterm from an existing terminal as user, it starts in transparent mode. However, when I start Eterm from an existing terminal as root, I get an Eterm: Error: Unable to load image file "tile/somerandomfilename.jpg" -- Unknown error. This looks suspiciously like the error message I get from Esetroot, which is Esetroot: Unable to load image file "randomimagefile.jpg".
Since the -O option uses the root background for transparency, is it possible that my problem is that Esetroot doesn't work? Anyone know if there's anything that can be done to correct this?
