error while loading shared libraries: libaio.so.1


Hello,
I am facing this problem after installation of Oracle 10g. Now I checked with Oracle installation Doc for RPMs required. I have all RPMS.
But one is missing libaio-0.3.103-3.x86_64.rpm. But when I try to install this Its giving error. Like
[root@rogers RPMS]# rpm -Uvh libaio-0.3.103-3.x86_64.rpm
rpmdb: Program version 4.2 doesn't match environment version
error: db4 error(22) from dbenv->open: Invalid argument
error: cannot open Packages index using db3 - Invalid argument (22)
error: cannot open Packages database in /var/lib/rpm
warning: libaio-0.3.103-3.x86_64.rpm: V3 DSA signature: NOKEY, key ID 73307de6
rpmdb: Program version 4.2 doesn't match environment version
error: db4 error(22) from dbenv->open: Invalid argument

My ENV is

[root@rogers RPMS]# uname -a
Linux rogers.india.hp.com 2.6.9-42.ELsmp #1 SMP Wed Jul 12 23:32:02 EDT 2006 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
[root@rogers RPMS]# cat /etc/redhat-release
Red Hat Enterprise Linux ES release 4 (Nahant Update 4)

HElp me in executing sqlplus or installing this RPM.

I think that you have problems with your rpm database. Here are some suggestions to check out your rpm database.

1. Check for duplicate entries. You may have a package installed or partially installed twice. Use this command:

rpm -qa | sort | less

to get a list of all of your installed packages. Check for duplicates. Also check to see if the libaio package is installed or partially installed.

2. Try to rebuild the data base with this command:

rpm --rebuilddb
