Error while installing X

OK, I am first time installing Xfree86 to my Linux (RH9) and having problems. After compiling X and trying to run make install on it the make gives a nasty warning. What am I doing wrong? You could say that I am a newbie.

installing in programs/xcursorgen...

I don't think that the message you posted is an error message.
