Error while installing RealPlayer

I open the terminal and do the chmod and then run the rp8_linux20_libc6_i386_cs1.bin file by giving the ./ command. The following error comes to me.

./rp8_linux20_libc6_i386_cs1.bin: error while loading shared libraries: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

I have a red hat linux 4 and above installation.

Pl help.

Do you mean you are using REdhat Linux 4 or Redhat Enterprise Linux 4? If you are using RHEL4, then download the Redhat package from here and install that. You will also need to make sure you install compat-libstdc++-33 in order for RealPlayer to work.

installation, realplayer
