I have already installed these packages:
glib-2.20.4
pango1.20.0
pk-config0.23

I HOPE you DID NOT install the newer versions of glib-2.20.4 ,pango1.20.0 ,pk-config0.23 on tpo of the ones your system is using what are you using rh,RHEL,ubuntu,CentOS,... -- what??? 0

if you did YOU WILL NEED TO REINSTALL your OS , in all likely hood.

I'd guess, that you are still trying to make
Firefox 3.5 to work in Redhat ES4 ( = EL4 ) ?

in order to compile firefox from source ?
They are not needed for the "firefox-3.5.tar.bz2"
The libs from The 'el4 repo' will do, except for
dbus-1.1.2 , dbus-glib-0.73 .

Why ? Please tell for which purpose.

And 'atk-1.3.0' released 20-Mar-2003 :
when atk version 1.8.0 is already installed
on your system.
Not very easy to understand, and 1.3.0 is probably
not at all usable with ( too ) new versions of pango
and glib.
