Unhappy Error when try to partion on redHat 7.2

I have a 40 GB Hard disk, I left the last 1GB free to install red hat linux 7.2. I boot from the CD and all goes OKon Graphic instalation but when the time to partion the disk with diskdruid comes appears a message saying that some problem is occuring and maybe the BIos isn't detecting correctly my HDD but it not seems to by the case. Changing to LBA may fix the problem. I did that and the same thing happened.

Once I had a 6GB HDD no problem occur. A friend of mine told me its because I was trying to install into a partion below cylinder 1024. Is that right? How could I fix this problem? Help!!!!

First off, 1Gig isn't going to be nearly enough room. You'll need at least 3Gigs to install the basics with room left over. There used to be a problem installing Linux UNDER the 1024th Cylinder but lilo gets past that now with the lba32 option. I would honestly see about giving it more space and you may notice, as you said with 6 Gigs that you have no problems. But I would definately tell it to 'force lba' when you get to that screen.
